When I saw the specs of the Bradley Digital 6-Rack Smoker I said to myself, this was the one I really needed. Six racks? Yep, I’m serious. I usually have a bunch of guys coming over – includes friends from work, poker buddies, and just every guy in the block. Other than playing several rounds of poker we also enjoy some cold soda with smoked fish and meat.
Feeding that many people (I don’t spend it all by the way – everyone chips in on the food) will be a huge challenge if your tools can’t cover it. You can almost see the sparkle in my eye when I saw this Bradley Digital Smoker.
What I Liked about the Bradley Digital 6-Rack Smoker
There are a lot of good things that I can say about this electric digital smoker other than its obviously enormous capacity. I have always enjoyed using Bradley smokers – in fact almost all of the guys on our neighborhood own one. It’s like a fad going on with every guy you meet I tell you. One feature about Bradley’s that we all like is that you can get everything set and completely forget about it.
I get more time to spend playing cards on the table instead of minding how the meat is getting cooked. I have tried sausages, chicken, prime rib, and even a nice salmon on this electric smoker and it smoked every single one of those items just fine.
I remember the time when they delivered this digital smoker at my door. I thought it wasn’t really that hard to put together. It’s not really a complicated machine so I didn’t really encounter any problems I have practically worked on more complex machines and devices so this one was a cinch by comparison.
All you really have to do is to take the smoke box where you put all chips in and connect that to the main smoker unit using the two cords that go either way. The last thing you need to do is to plug the unit to a power source and you’re all set.
It’s great that this Bradley smoker has a built in drip tray. Some of my friends have smokers that don’t have one and you can just imagine how much of a mess those things make. As always, I love the digital controls on all Bradleys. That seems to be some sort of a standard for all electric smokers of this brand.

Bradley 6-Rack Smoker Negatives
Of course, in the two years that I have used this smoker I have become familiar with some of its faults. For instance, when I ordered the unit I was surprised to learn that it didn’t come with smoking bisquettes. Another issue is the fact that the temperature on this unit is really inaccurate. I had to purchase my own wireless thermometer to make sure I’m getting the right readings.
